Life is like a colour wheel

Life is like a colour wheel

I was thinking the other day how life and everything in it is like a colour wheel.. if you see it from the outside, it looks like it’s split into different colours – greens, purples, blues, yellows, reds. Each colour is beautiful in its own way, and is different from the other colours. However, the further in you go, to the source, the more the colours all become one and the same colour.

We can think of the colours as symbolic representations of things in life, whether different cultures or types of people, or institutions or ways of thinking. From the outside, they are different and varied, each as interesting as the next, but the further inside, to the source you get, the more it becomes evident that we are all the same colour. It doesn’t make yellow better than red, or green better than blue. We NEED all the different colours to make the world interesting, otherwise everything would be just one colour or tone, and that would be pretty boring!

It’s a nice thought for this lovely sunny day 🙂
