The first thing that usually happens is that we will discuss the nature of the project and your business. I usually get clients to fill in a questionnare which will let us build a framework for the project, help me with my quote estimates and allow me to understand what the final design should be accomplishing.

After the quote is given and agreed upon, I’ll take part payment as deposit for the work to start.

I will then do research, sketching, wireframing and design concepts, which I will present. These will be discussed and refined as necessary until the client is happy with the result.

There will usually be a number of design changes built into the quote to help the process be efficient. Once the final design proof is approved, the final invoice will be paid before handover of final files (or as agreed).

• For websites these will be PSD files with rollover layers as needed for development.
• For logos these will be EPS and hi-res CMYK TIF or JPG files.
• For other designs, they will be print ready artwork (usually PDF).
